Sales Trends in Haisley Homestead

The REALTORS® Multiple List System (MLS) records of sales in Haisley Homestead from July 2004 through December 2005 were studied. To make fair comparisons, the prices were normalized on dollars per square foot (sq-ft) of livable floor space. The graph below shows the results for Haisley Homestead. Keep in mind that a smaller home or condo will generally bring a higher price per sq-ft than a larger one.

Notice that in early 2004, prices were running mostly below $120 per sq-ft while at the end of December, 2005, prices were holding from $140 to $180 per sq-ft. There is a lot of "scatter" in the prices, primarily due to a wide variation in the condition and levels of upgrades, as well as substantial variation in the quality of the settings and the views from each home.
