U P D A T E D -- This study was made in order to communicate the conditions of the market for in the
Prescott Area which includes everything in Yavapai County on the Prescott side of
Mingus Mountain. This study concentrates on site-built single family homes.
The chart below shows the number of sales Sold (closed) month by month and the
number of homes added to the market month by month. Net homes Added was derived
by subtracting expired listings and withdrawn listings from the number of new listings.
The chart above shows a history of the number of parcels on the market. Note that the market had a low of around 750 parcels in September of 2005, but reached over 4000 for most of the middle of 2007.
Also notice that there does not seem to be a seasonal trend related to the sales or market for vacant land parcels.
