Montaña Estates is an "umbrella" association that includes Site-Built Single Family homes as well as condominiums in Montaña Villas and Montaña Terrace. The Villas at Sunrise Terrace are newer and are adjacent to Montaña Terrace on the west side. Tanglewood hills is on the south side of a big hill that separates it from the other developments.

All of these developments have condominiums that are popular with investors. Those in Montaña Villas and Montaña Terrace are two-bedroom, two-bath, single level condos with a single covered parking space. They range in size from around 860 sq-ft to a little over 1100 sq-ft for the corner units. Most buildings have eight condos to each building. Tanglewood Hills is a mixture of patio homes and townhouses, some of which are two-storys. These have 2-car garages, or a 1-car garage with a carport. All are two-bedroom, two-bath units, with a few having a third bedroom. All the units in Tanglewood have stucco walls and clay tile roofs with most having a private courtyard.
